Invest less, take a trip more … right?! If you like to make your vacation travel dollar stretch, then like us, you might find yourself thinking about a holiday bundle marketing offer. Know that these marketing getaway bundle business are not at all equal.
After the let down of our current remain at the Cancun all inclusive through Premier Travel Resorts, I just got off the phone from attempting to reserve the rest of our holiday plan with them (a long time in Florida). Let’s just say that will not be taking place. We are just going to consume the expense and forget about it.
From here on out, we will be reserving trip bundles through BookVIP. If you click over to their site, you will see that it is full of the most affordable getaway packages to some of the most popular locations.
Our very first ever all inclusive experience was with BookVIP and it was fantastic. Maybe the Dreams spoiled us.
One quick note … We have just used BookVIP one time, at one high-end resort in Cancun. Reasoning tells me that not every resort getaway bundle is going to provide a similar experience. It truly is all going to boil down to the research you put in.
Is booking Very Important Person a timeshare?
Researching the residential or commercial properties used on BookVIP can be a little a challenge. They don’t market the real name of the resorts. Rather, they use phony names. But if you actually wish to sleuth out the place you will be remaining a little bit of investigative work on Google to match up the pictures will expose the true identity of the residential or commercial property you are thinking about. We didn’t bother going that far. There was a lot of info on the BookVIP website to help us feel comfortable with making our appointment.
You know ahead of time if the dates you want to take a trip are available. There is time to compare the amenities and restaurants. This is a huge contrast to the marketing holiday plan sales calls I will talk about in the next area.
When you are ready to make your appointment with BookVIP, just be gotten ready for a couple of extra resort charges and taxes. Our $599 for 5 days/4 nights at a Cancun all inclusive expense around $720 after everything was said and done. In our case, part of the surcharge was to cover ideas for the resort staff. After the experience we had, we found this to be well worth it.
OUR EXPERIENCE WITH PREMIER TRAVEL RESORTS Reviews For Bookvip Com
In contrast to BookVIP, our experience with Premier Travel Resorts (out of Florida) was not the very best. If this had actually been our first experience, we likely would not have taken part in another promotional offer. It was that bad.
Are you on the calling lists? After our first advertising resort stay, we began getting telephone call providing trip plans to numerous locations. That is how we wound up with a getaway bundle including our most recent Cancun all inclusive plus a couple brief stays in Florida and in other places.
These travel sales calls are always a high-pressure circumstance unless you just hang up. State no enough times and they will keep dropping the price to where it actually sounds like a good deal. There isn’t much time to investigate the getaway homes they are providing.
They drew us in with a stay in Cancun (which is convenient for us because of the proximity to Belize) and some time in Florida (hi, sailboat shopping!). So we shot and purchased a package. However using it, that is an entire various story.
Premier Travel Resorts does not make it easy to in fact utilize the trip time. There is a great deal of fine print that makes travel preparation really difficult and possibly a lot more expensive. They do not reveal these information during the sales call.
IF YOU BUY A GETAWAY PACKAGE WITH PREMIER TRAVEL RESORTS, THIS IS WHAT YOU MUST BE PREPARED FOR …
You can only reserve your dates 45-90 days ahead of time. Okay, reasonable enough.
When you call to ask for your preferred dates, they need you to fill out a long form requiring all the info that they already have. You then have to wait about a week to see if your dates are even offered. Unless your travel plans will only include your stay at their resort, this makes planning the rest of your travel really troublesome.
Preparation inexpensive flights, or available Airbnb stays in conjunction with your Premier Travel Resorts vacation package is extremely challenging. In our case, the Airbnb we wished to remain at after our stay at the resort was reserved by the time Premier Travel Resorts got back to us.
Our package consisted of a remain in Orlando and a remain in Daytona Beach. Premier Travel Resorts needs that those stays be back to back or 1 month apart. So, in our case, utilizing them on either end of a business journey we had actually prepared was not allowed.
We utilized the Cancun portion of our holiday package, but we will not be using the rest of it.
THE BAIT AND SWITCH CANCUN ‘ALL INCLUSIVE’ THROUGH PREMIER TRAVEL RESORTS
The space was filthy, the toilet was cracked, the lights flickered, and that is just the start. You see, they put us up, not in among the luxury properties that they wished to offer us on, however rather at their ‘cemetary resort’. Seriously, that is what the men at the nice home informed us they called it. Genuine.
The one restaurant that was included in our ‘all inclusive’ (if you ignore the air conditioner leaking into our food) was in fact a great experience. They altered up the menu every night, including foods from various parts of Mexico. And extremely ready to help us with our Spanish.
Once over the shock of the difference in the kind of location we believed we would be staying, we made the many of it. And chose up our rental vehicle a couple days early to go off and check out the location.
THE SALES PITCH
Both BookVIP and Premier Travel Resorts require that you go to a 90-120 minute sales pitch to get their reduced prices. No biggie. We feel like that is worth it.
Premier Travel Resorts, however, requires that you attend a promotional presentation throughout each stay. When they offered us the package, this is various from what we were informed. A two-hour sales pitch when you are remaining somewhere for just two nights is a big chunk of time. They sold us 4 different stays, that suggests approximately eight hours of reasonably high-pressure sales! No thanks.
OK, THAT’S IT FOR MY TIRADE
