Invest less, take a trip more … right?! If you like to make your holiday travel dollar stretch, then like us, you may discover yourself considering a holiday package promotional deal. Know that these promotional vacation bundle companies are not at all equal.
After the let down of our current remain at the Cancun all inclusive through Premier Travel Resorts, I simply got off the phone from trying to reserve the remainder of our trip package with them (a long time in Florida). Let’s simply say that will not be occurring. We are just going to eat the cost and forget about it.
From here on out, we will be reserving trip bundles through BookVIP. Here’s why …
Definitely, you have actually seen the Facebook sponsored posts. If you click over to their site, you will see that it is full of the cheapest vacation packages to some of the most popular destinations. They have some seriously elegant looking stays all over the world at some insane great rates.
Our first ever all inclusive experience was with BookVIP and it was amazing. Perhaps the Dreams spoiled us.
One fast note … We have actually only utilized BookVIP one time, at one high-end resort in Cancun. Logic tells me that not every resort holiday bundle is going to supply a comparable experience. It actually is all going to boil down to the research you put in.
Is booking Very Important Person a timeshare?
They don’t promote the actual name of the resorts. If you truly want to sleuth out the location you will be staying a bit of investigative work on Google to match up the pictures will reveal the true identity of the property you are thinking about. There was plenty of information on the BookVIP site to help us feel comfy with making our reservation.
You understand ahead of time if the dates you desire to take a trip are available. There is time to compare the features and restaurants. This is a big contrast to the advertising holiday plan sales calls I will talk about in the next section.
When you are ready to make your appointment with BookVIP, just be prepared for a couple of extra resort charges and taxes. In our case, part of the additional charge was to cover tips for the resort personnel.
OUR EXPERIENCE WITH PREMIER TRAVEL RESORTS Http Bookvip.Com Qyb1V
In contrast to BookVIP, our experience with Premier Travel Resorts (out of Florida) was not the very best. If this had actually been our first experience, we likely would not have actually taken part in another promotional offer. It was that bad.
Are you on the calling lists? After our very first advertising resort stay, we began getting phone calls offering getaway packages to various destinations. That is how we ended up with a holiday plan including our newest Cancun all inclusive plus a couple brief remain in Florida and somewhere else.
These travel sales calls are always a high-pressure situation unless you simply hang up. State no enough times and they will keep dropping the price to where it really sounds like a good deal. There isn’t much time to investigate the trip homes they are using.
They drew us in with a stay in Cancun (which is convenient for us because of the distance to Belize) and some time in Florida (hi, sailboat shopping!). So we pulled the trigger and purchased a bundle. But using it, that is a whole different story.
Premier Travel Resorts does not make it easy to in fact use the getaway time. There is a great deal of small print that makes travel preparation really challenging and possibly a lot more expensive. They do not expose these information throughout the sales call.
THIS IS WHAT YOU MUST BE PREPARED FOR …
You can only reserve book dates 45-90 days ahead of time if YOU ACQUIRE A GETAWAY PACKAGE WITH PREMIER TRAVEL RESORTS. Okay, reasonable enough.
When you call to ask for your preferred dates, they need you to fill out a long form needing all the info that they currently have. You then have to wait about a week to see if your dates are even available. Unless your itinerary will just include your remain at their resort, this makes planning the rest of your travel really inconvenient.
Preparation cost effective flights, or available Airbnb remains in conjunction with your Premier Travel Resorts holiday plan is very tough. In our case, the Airbnb we wished to remain at after our stay at the resort was reserved by the time Premier Travel Resorts returned to us.
Our plan consisted of a stay in Orlando and a stay in Daytona Beach. Premier Travel Resorts requires that those stays be back to back or 30 days apart. In our case, using them on either end of an organization journey we had actually prepared was not allowed.
We utilized the Cancun part of our trip package, however we won’t be using the rest of it.
THE BAIT AND SWITCH CANCUN ‘ALL INCLUSIVE’ THROUGH PREMIER TRAVEL RESORTS
The space was filthy, the toilet was cracked, the lights flickered, and that is simply the beginning. You see, they put us up, not in one of the luxury properties that they wanted to offer us on, but rather at their ‘cemetary resort’. Seriously, that is what the men at the good home informed us they called it. For real.
The one restaurant that was included in our ‘all inclusive’ (if you overlook the air conditioner leaking into our food) was actually a great experience. They changed up the menu every night, featuring foods from various parts of Mexico. And extremely willing to help us with our Spanish.
Once over the shock of the distinction in the kind of location we believed we would be remaining, we made the most of it. And selected up our rental automobile a couple days early to go off and explore the area.
THE SALES PITCH
Both BookVIP and Premier Travel Resorts need that you go to a 90-120 minute sales pitch to get their reduced rates. No biggie. We seem like that deserves it.
Premier Travel Resorts, however, requires that you attend an advertising discussion throughout each stay. When they offered us the package, this is different from what we were told. When you are remaining somewhere for only two nights is a big piece of time, a two-hour sales pitch. They offered us four various stays, that suggests approximately 8 hours of moderately high-pressure sales! No thanks.
OK, THAT’S IT FOR MY TIRADE
