We are deal hunters. Spend less, take a trip more … right?!Bookvip Travel… If you like to make your holiday travel dollar stretch, then like us, you may find yourself thinking about a holiday plan marketing deal. You need to be prepared. Know that these promotional trip plan business are not at all equal.
After the pulled down of our recent stay at the Cancun all inclusive through Premier Travel Resorts, I simply got off the phone from attempting to book the remainder of our holiday package with them (some time in Florida). Let’s just state that will not be taking place. We are simply going to forget and eat the cost about it.
From here on out, we will be scheduling trip plans through BookVIP. If you click over to their website, you will see that it is complete of the most affordable holiday plans to some of the most popular destinations.
Our very first ever all inclusive experience was with BookVIP and it was amazing. Maybe the Dreams spoiled us.
One fast note … We have only utilized BookVIP one time, at one high-end resort in Cancun. Logic tells me that not every resort getaway bundle is going to offer a similar experience. It actually is all going to come down to the research you put in.
Is booking Very Important Person a timeshare?
They don’t advertise the actual name of the resorts. If you actually desire to sleuth out the location you will be remaining a bit of investigative work on Google to match up the pictures will expose the real identity of the home you are considering. There was plenty of information on the BookVIP website to help us feel comfortable with making our reservation.
You know ahead of time if the dates you want to take a trip are offered. There is time to compare the features and restaurants. This is a huge contrast to the marketing holiday package sales calls I will talk about in the next area.
Just be prepared for a couple of additional resort fees and taxes when you are prepared to make your appointment with BookVIP. Our $599 for 5 days/4 nights at a Cancun all inclusive cost around $720 after whatever was said and done. In our case, part of the additional charge was to cover ideas for the resort staff. After the experience we had, we found this to be well worth it.
OUR EXPERIENCE WITH PREMIER TRAVEL RESORTS Bookvip Travel
In contrast to BookVIP, our experience with Premier Travel Resorts (out of Florida) was not the very best. If this had actually been our very first experience, we most likely would not have participated in another marketing offer. It was that bad.
Are you on the calling lists? After our first advertising resort stay, we started getting call offering vacation packages to various destinations. That is how we ended up with a getaway bundle including our latest Cancun all inclusive plus a couple brief remain in Florida and somewhere else.
These travel sales calls are always a high-pressure circumstance unless you just hang up. Say no adequate times and they will keep dropping the price to where it really sounds like a good deal. There isn’t much time to investigate the holiday residential or commercial properties they are using.
They drew us in with a stay in Cancun (which is convenient for us because of the proximity to Belize) and a long time in Florida (hello, sailboat shopping!). So we shot and bought a package. But utilizing it, that is an entire different story.
Premier Travel Resorts does not make it easy to in fact use the holiday time. There is a great deal of small print that makes travel preparation very tough and potentially a lot more costly. They do not reveal these information throughout the sales call.
THIS IS WHAT YOU NEED TO BE PREPARED FOR …
You can only just schedule dates 45-90 days ahead of time if YOU BUY A VACATION BUNDLE WITH PREMIER TRAVEL RESORTS. Okay, reasonable enough.
When you call to ask for your favored dates, they require you to fill out a long type needing all the info that they currently have. You then have to wait about a week to see if your dates are even offered. Unless your travel plans will just consist of your stay at their resort, this makes planning the rest of your travel very troublesome.
Preparation budget friendly flights, or readily available Airbnb remains in conjunction with your Premier Travel Resorts trip plan is really difficult. In our case, the Airbnb we wished to stay at after our stay at the resort was booked by the time Premier Travel Resorts returned to us.
Our bundle included a stay in Orlando and a remain in Daytona Beach. Premier Travel Resorts needs that those stays be back to back or 30 days apart. So, in our case, using them on either end of a service journey we had actually prepared was not permitted.
We utilized the Cancun part of our trip plan, but we will not be using the rest of it.
THE BAIT AND SWITCH CANCUN ‘ALL INCLUSIVE’ THROUGH PREMIER TRAVEL RESORTS
The room was unclean, the toilet was chipped, the lights flickered, and that is simply the start. You see, they put us up, not in among the high-end homes that they wanted to offer us on, but rather at their ‘cemetary resort’. Seriously, that is what the people at the great residential or commercial property told us they called it. For real.
The one dining establishment that was consisted of in our ‘all inclusive’ (if you overlook the air conditioner leaking into our food) was actually a good experience. They altered up the menu every night, including foods from different parts of Mexico. And extremely willing to help us with our Spanish.
As soon as over the shock of the distinction in the kind of location we thought we would be remaining, we made the many of it. And chose up our rental automobile a couple days early to go off and check out the location.
THE SALES PITCH
Both BookVIP and Premier Travel Resorts require that you attend a 90-120 minute sales pitch to get their reduced costs. No biggie. We feel like that deserves it.
Premier Travel Resorts, nevertheless, requires that you go to a promotional discussion during each stay. When they offered us the package, this is different from what we were informed. When you are remaining somewhere for only two nights is a huge portion of time, a two-hour sales pitch. They offered us 4 different stays, that indicates as much as eight hours of moderately high-pressure sales! No thanks.
OK, THAT’S IT FOR MY TIRADE
