THE BAIT AND SWITCH CANCUN ‘ALL INCLUSIVE’ THROUGH PREMIER TRAVEL RESORTS
You see, they put us up, not in one of the high-end residential or commercial properties that they desired to offer us on, however rather at their ‘cemetary resort’. Seriously, that is what the men at the nice property told us they called it.
Now, to be fair, Laguna Suites wasn’t all bad. The one dining establishment that was included in our ‘all inclusive’ (if you overlook the air conditioning system leaking into our food) was actually a great experience. They changed up the menu every night, featuring foods from various parts of Mexico. And the staff was fantastic. Very friendly and accommodating. And very ready to assist us with our Spanish.
Twice the shock of the distinction in the sort of location we thought we would be remaining, we took advantage of it. We met some nice people. Consumed some excellent food. Took some nice walks on the golf course. And got our rental car a couple days early to go off and explore the location.
THE SALES PITCH
Both BookVIP and Premier Travel Resorts need that you attend a 90-120 minute sales pitch to get their reduced rates. No biggie. We feel like that deserves it.
