Spend less, take a trip more … right?! If you like to make your getaway travel dollar stretch, then like us, you might find yourself considering a holiday bundle promotional offer. Know that these promotional trip plan companies are not at all equivalent.
After the pulled down of our current stay at the Cancun all inclusive through Premier Travel Resorts, I just left the phone from trying to reserve the remainder of our vacation plan with them (some time in Florida). Let’s simply state that will not be happening. We are simply going to forget and eat the cost about it.
From here on out, we will be booking trip plans through BookVIP. If you click over to their site, you will see that it is full of the cheapest vacation plans to some of the most popular locations.
Our very first ever all inclusive experience was with BookVIP and it was amazing. Possibly the Dreams ruined us.
One quick note … We have actually only used BookVIP one time, at one high-end resort in Cancun. Logic tells me that not every resort holiday package is going to offer a comparable experience. It actually is all going to come down to the research study you put in.
Is booking Very Important Person a timeshare?
They do not market the real name of the resorts. If you actually want to sleuth out the place you will be staying a bit of investigative work on Google to match up the photos will reveal the true identity of the home you are considering. There was plenty of details on the BookVIP website to help us feel comfy with making our booking.
What we love about scheduling with BookVIP? You are on your own schedule. No sales calls, no pressure. Book when you have done your research study and you are ready. You will understand what you are getting. If the dates you want to travel are available, you understand ahead of time. There is time to compare the dining establishments and facilities. This is a huge contrast to the marketing holiday bundle sales calls I will discuss in the next area.
When you are ready to make your reservation with BookVIP, just be gotten ready for a couple of additional resort charges and taxes. Our $599 for 5 days/4 nights at a Cancun all inclusive expense around $720 after whatever was stated and done. In our case, part of the added fee was to cover ideas for the resort staff. After the experience we had, we found this to be well worth it.
OUR EXPERIENCE WITH PREMIER TRAVEL RESORTS Bookvip.Com Singles
In contrast to BookVIP, our experience with Premier Travel Resorts (out of Florida) was not the very best. We very likely would not have participated in another marketing deal if this had actually been our first experience. It was that bad.
Are you on the calling lists? After our very first marketing resort stay, we started getting telephone call offering trip packages to different destinations. That is how we wound up with a vacation bundle including our latest Cancun all inclusive plus a couple short remain in Florida and in other places.
These travel sales calls are constantly a high-pressure situation unless you just hang up. State no enough times and they will keep dropping the price to where it actually sounds like a great deal. There isn’t much time to look into the holiday residential or commercial properties they are using.
They drew us in with a stay in Cancun (which is convenient for us because of the distance to Belize) and a long time in Florida (hi, sailboat shopping!). So we pulled the trigger and bought a bundle. However utilizing it, that is a whole different story.
Premier Travel Resorts does not make it simple to in fact utilize the trip time. There is a lot of small print that makes travel planning really challenging and potentially a lot more costly. They do not reveal these details throughout the sales call.
IF YOU PURCHASE A TRIP PACKAGE WITH PREMIER TRAVEL RESORTS, THIS IS WHAT YOU MUST BE PREPARED FOR …
You can just book your dates 45-90 days ahead of time. Okay, reasonable enough.
When you call to ask for your favored dates, they need you to fill out a long kind requiring all the details that they already have. You then have to wait about a week to see if your dates are even available. Unless your itinerary will just include your remain at their resort, this makes planning the rest of your travel very inconvenient.
Planning budget friendly flights, or available Airbnb stays in conjunction with your Premier Travel Resorts holiday bundle is extremely challenging. In our case, the Airbnb we wanted to remain at after our stay at the resort was booked by the time Premier Travel Resorts returned to us.
Our plan consisted of a stay in Orlando and a remain in Daytona Beach. Premier Travel Resorts needs that those stays be back to back or one month apart. So, in our case, utilizing them on either end of an organization journey we had prepared was not permitted.
We used the Cancun portion of our trip plan, but we won’t be utilizing the rest of it.
THE BAIT AND SWITCH CANCUN ‘ALL INCLUSIVE’ THROUGH PREMIER TRAVEL RESORTS
You see, they put us up, not in one of the luxury homes that they wanted to sell us on, but rather at their ‘cemetary resort’. Seriously, that is what the men at the nice home told us they called it.
The one restaurant that was included in our ‘all inclusive’ (if you neglect the air conditioner leaking into our food) was really a nice experience. They altered up the menu every night, including foods from various parts of Mexico. And extremely willing to assist us with our Spanish.
Twice the shock of the distinction in the type of place we believed we would be remaining, we took advantage of it. We fulfilled some nice individuals. Ate some great food. Took some great strolls on the golf course. And got our rental cars and truck a couple days early to go off and check out the area.
THE SALES PITCH
Both BookVIP and Premier Travel Resorts require that you attend a 90-120 minute sales pitch to get their reduced rates. No biggie. We seem like that deserves it.
Premier Travel Resorts, nevertheless, requires that you go to a promotional discussion throughout each stay. This is various from what we were informed when they sold us the package.
OK, THAT’S IT FOR MY RANT
