After the pulled down of our recent stay at the Cancun all inclusive through Premier Travel Resorts, I just got off the phone from trying to schedule the remainder of our holiday package with them (some time in Florida). Let’s just state that will not be occurring. We are simply going to consume the cost and forget about it.
From here on out, we will be reserving trip packages through BookVIP. Here’s why …
Undoubtedly, you’ve seen the Facebook sponsored posts. You will see that it is full of the cheapest holiday packages to some of the most popular locations if you click over to their site. They have some seriously elegant looking stays all over the world at some insane excellent costs.
Our very first ever all inclusive experience was with BookVIP and it was remarkable. Maybe the Dreams ruined us.
One fast note … We have just utilized BookVIP one time, at one luxury resort in Cancun. Logic tells me that not every resort trip package is going to offer a comparable experience. It really is all going to boil down to the research study you put in.

In contrast to BookVIP, our experience with Premier Travel Resorts (out of Florida) was not the best. If this had been our first experience, we likely would not have participated in another promotional offer. It was that bad.
Are you on the calling lists? After our first promotional resort stay, we began getting telephone call offering holiday bundles to different locations. That is how we ended up with a trip package including our newest Cancun all inclusive plus a couple brief stays in Florida and somewhere else.
These travel sales calls are constantly a high-pressure situation unless you simply hang up. Say no enough times and they will keep dropping the price to where it in fact sounds like a good deal. There isn’t much time to research the holiday homes they are using.
They drew us in with a stay in Cancun (which is convenient for us because of the distance to Belize) and some time in Florida (hi, sailboat shopping!). So we pulled the trigger and bought a plan. But utilizing it, that is an entire different story.
Premier Travel Resorts does not make it easy to really use the getaway time. There is a great deal of small print that makes travel preparation very tough and possibly a lot more costly. They do not expose these information during the sales call.
IF YOU BUY A HOLIDAY PACKAGE WITH PREMIER TRAVEL RESORTS, THIS IS WHAT YOU NEED TO BE PREPARED FOR …
You can just reserve your dates 45-90 days ahead of time. Okay, reasonable enough.
However, when you contact us to request for your favored dates, they require you to fill out a long type requiring all the information that they currently have. You then need to wait about a week to see if your dates are even offered. Unless your travel plans will just include your remain at their resort, this makes preparing the rest of your travel really bothersome.
Planning budget friendly flights, or available Airbnb stays in combination with your Premier Travel Resorts getaway package is extremely tough. In our case, the Airbnb we wanted to stay at after our remain at the resort was reserved by the time Premier Travel Resorts returned to us.
Our package consisted of a stay in Orlando and a remain in Daytona Beach. Premier Travel Resorts requires that those stays be back to back or 30 days apart. In our case, utilizing them on either end of a company journey we had actually prepared was not enabled.

THE BAIT AND SWITCH CANCUN ‘ALL INCLUSIVE’ THROUGH PREMIER TRAVEL RESORTS

Now, to be fair, Laguna Suites wasn’t all bad. The one restaurant that was included in our ‘all inclusive’ (if you neglect the ac system dripping into our food) was really a nice experience. They changed up the menu every night, featuring foods from different parts of Mexico. And the personnel was incredible. Very friendly and accommodating. And extremely going to assist us with our Spanish.
As soon as over the shock of the distinction in the kind of location we thought we would be staying, we made the many of it. And picked up our rental vehicle a couple days early to go off and check out the area.
THE SALES PITCH
Both BookVIP and Premier Travel Resorts need that you attend a 90-120 minute sales pitch to get their discounted costs. No biggie. We feel like that deserves it.
Premier Travel Resorts, however, requires that you go to a marketing discussion during each stay. When they offered us the bundle, this is different from what we were informed. When you are remaining someplace for just 2 nights is a big piece of time, a two-hour sales pitch. They sold us 4 different stays, that means approximately 8 hours of moderately high-pressure sales! No thanks.
