Spend less, travel more … right?! If you like to make your holiday travel dollar stretch, then like us, you might find yourself thinking about a trip package promotional offer. Know that these marketing getaway bundle companies are not at all equal.
After the pulled down of our current stay at the Cancun all inclusive through Premier Travel Resorts, I simply got off the phone from trying to book the rest of our getaway package with them (a long time in Florida). Let’s just say that will not be taking place. We are simply going to forget and consume the expense about it.
From here on out, we will be reserving holiday plans through BookVIP. If you click over to their website, you will see that it is full of the most inexpensive holiday bundles to some of the most popular destinations.
Our first ever all inclusive experience was with BookVIP and it was amazing. Perhaps the Dreams ruined us. This place was off-hook. It was everything we had actually hoped for and then some.
One quick note … We have actually only utilized BookVIP one time, at one luxury resort in Cancun. Reasoning tells me that not every resort trip plan is going to supply a similar experience. It actually is all going to come down to the research you put in.
Is booking Very Important Person a timeshare?
Looking into the residential or commercial properties offered on BookVIP can be a little a challenge. They don’t promote the real name of the resorts. Rather, they use phony names. If you really want to sleuth out the location you will be remaining a bit of investigative work on Google to match up the images will reveal the real identity of the property you are thinking about. We didn’t trouble going that far. There was a lot of information on the BookVIP website to assist us feel comfortable with making our appointment.
You understand ahead of time if the dates you desire to travel are offered. There is time to compare the features and restaurants. This is a big contrast to the promotional getaway bundle sales calls I will talk about in the next section.
When you are prepared to make your reservation with BookVIP, simply be prepared for a couple of extra resort fees and taxes. In our case, part of the extra charge was to cover ideas for the resort staff.
OUR EXPERIENCE WITH PREMIER TRAVEL RESORTS Bookvip Com Cabo San Lucas
In contrast to BookVIP, our experience with Premier Travel Resorts (out of Florida) was not the very best. We very likely would not have actually gotten involved in another promotional offer if this had been our first experience. It was that bad.
Are you on the calling lists? After our first promotional resort stay, we started getting phone calls offering trip plans to different destinations. That is how we ended up with a vacation bundle including our most recent Cancun all inclusive plus a couple brief remain in Florida and somewhere else.
These travel sales calls are constantly a high-pressure scenario unless you just hang up. Say no sufficient times and they will keep dropping the price to where it in fact sounds like a great deal. There isn’t much time to investigate the trip residential or commercial properties they are using.
They drew us in with a remain in Cancun (which is convenient for us because of the distance to Belize) and a long time in Florida (hey there, sailboat shopping!). We pulled the trigger and purchased a package. Using it, that is a whole various story.
Premier Travel Resorts does not make it easy to in fact utilize the holiday time. There is a great deal of fine print that makes travel preparation very hard and possibly a lot more costly. They don’t reveal these details throughout the sales call.
THIS IS WHAT YOU SHOULD BE PREPARED FOR …
You can only just book dates 45-90 days ahead of time if YOU ACQUIRE A VACATION PLAN WITH PREMIER TRAVEL RESORTS. Okay, fair enough.
When you call to ask for your favored dates, they need you to fill out a long type requiring all the information that they currently have. You then need to wait about a week to see if your dates are even available. Unless your travel plans will only consist of your remain at their resort, this makes planning the rest of your travel extremely bothersome.
Preparation budget friendly flights, or offered Airbnb stays in conjunction with your Premier Travel Resorts vacation plan is very difficult. In our case, the Airbnb we wanted to stay at after our stay at the resort was scheduled by the time Premier Travel Resorts returned to us.
Our bundle included a remain in Orlando and a remain in Daytona Beach. Premier Travel Resorts needs that those stays be back to back or 1 month apart. So, in our case, using them on either end of a service trip we had planned was not enabled.
We utilized the Cancun portion of our vacation plan, but we won’t be using the rest of it.
THE BAIT AND SWITCH CANCUN ‘ALL INCLUSIVE’ THROUGH PREMIER TRAVEL RESORTS
You see, they put us up, not in one of the high-end residential or commercial properties that they wanted to sell us on, but rather at their ‘cemetary resort’. Seriously, that is what the men at the great home told us they called it.
Now, to be reasonable, Laguna Suites wasn’t all bad. The one restaurant that was consisted of in our ‘all inclusive’ (if you ignore the air conditioner dripping into our food) was actually a nice experience. They altered the menu every night, including foods from different parts of Mexico. And the staff was amazing. Extremely friendly and accommodating. And very happy to help us with our Spanish.
Twice the shock of the difference in the type of place we believed we would be staying, we took advantage of it. We fulfilled some great people. Ate some excellent food. Took some good walks on the golf course. And got our rental automobile a couple days early to go off and check out the area.
THE SALES PITCH
Both BookVIP and Premier Travel Resorts need that you attend a 90-120 minute sales pitch to get their reduced costs. No biggie. We seem like that deserves it.
Premier Travel Resorts, nevertheless, requires that you attend a marketing discussion during each stay. This is different from what we were informed when they offered us the bundle.
OK, THAT’S IT FOR MY RANT
