Invest less, take a trip more … right?! If you like to make your trip travel dollar stretch, then like us, you might discover yourself thinking about a getaway package promotional offer. Know that these marketing holiday bundle companies are not at all equal.
After the let down of our current stay at the Cancun all inclusive through Premier Travel Resorts, I simply left the phone from trying to book the rest of our trip package with them (a long time in Florida). Let’s just say that will not be occurring. We are just going to eat the cost and forget about it.
From here on out, we will be reserving getaway bundles through BookVIP. If you click over to their site, you will see that it is full of the cheapest vacation bundles to some of the most popular locations.
Our very first all inclusive experience was with BookVIP and it was remarkable. Maybe the Dreams spoiled us. This place was off-hook. It was whatever we had actually expected and then some.
One fast note … We have actually only utilized BookVIP one time, at one luxury resort in Cancun. Logic tells me that not every resort trip package is going to provide a similar experience. It truly is all going to boil down to the research study you put in.
Is booking Very Important Person a timeshare?
They don’t market the real name of the resorts. If you really want to sleuth out the place you will be staying a bit of investigative work on Google to match up the pictures will reveal the real identity of the home you are thinking about. There was plenty of details on the BookVIP website to help us feel comfortable with making our appointment.
You know ahead of time if the dates you desire to travel are offered. There is time to compare the dining establishments and facilities. This is a big contrast to the marketing holiday bundle sales calls I will talk about in the next area.
When you are prepared to make your appointment with BookVIP, just be prepared for a couple of additional resort charges and taxes. In our case, part of the extra charge was to cover pointers for the resort staff.
OUR EXPERIENCE WITH PREMIER TRAVEL RESORTS Bookvip Com Better Business Bureau
In contrast to BookVIP, our experience with Premier Travel Resorts (out of Florida) was not the best. If this had actually been our first experience, we likely would not have taken part in another advertising deal. It was that bad.
Are you on the calling lists? After our very first promotional resort stay, we began getting call offering getaway plans to numerous locations. That is how we wound up with a getaway package including our latest Cancun all inclusive plus a couple brief stays in Florida and somewhere else.
These travel sales calls are constantly a high-pressure circumstance unless you simply hang up. Say no adequate times and they will keep dropping the price to where it actually sounds like a good deal. There isn’t much time to look into the holiday properties they are offering.
They drew us in with a remain in Cancun (which is convenient for us because of the proximity to Belize) and a long time in Florida (hi, sailboat shopping!). We pulled the trigger and purchased a bundle. Utilizing it, that is a whole different story.
Premier Travel Resorts does not make it easy to in fact use the vacation time. There is a lot of small print that makes travel planning extremely tough and possibly a lot more costly. They do not reveal these information throughout the sales call.
THIS IS WHAT YOU MUST BE PREPARED FOR …
You can only reserve schedule dates 45-90 days ahead of time if YOU BUY A VACATION PACKAGE WITH PREMIER TRAVEL RESORTS. Okay, reasonable enough.
Nevertheless, when you contact us to request for your preferred dates, they require you to fill out a long form requiring all the information that they already have. You then need to wait about a week to see if your dates are even readily available. Unless your travel plans will just include your stay at their resort, this makes planning the rest of your travel extremely troublesome.
Planning cost effective flights, or available Airbnb stays in conjunction with your Premier Travel Resorts getaway plan is very difficult. In our case, the Airbnb we wished to stay at after our remain at the resort was reserved by the time Premier Travel Resorts got back to us.
Our package included a stay in Orlando and a remain in Daytona Beach. Premier Travel Resorts needs that those stays be back to back or thirty days apart. In our case, using them on either end of an organization trip we had actually planned was not enabled.
We utilized the Cancun portion of our vacation package, however we won’t be using the rest of it.
THE BAIT AND SWITCH CANCUN ‘ALL INCLUSIVE’ THROUGH PREMIER TRAVEL RESORTS
The space was unclean, the toilet was cracked, the lights flickered, and that is just the beginning. You see, they put us up, not in among the high-end residential or commercial properties that they wanted to offer us on, but rather at their ‘cemetary resort’. Seriously, that is what the guys at the good home informed us they called it. For real.
The one dining establishment that was included in our ‘all inclusive’ (if you neglect the air conditioner leaking into our food) was really a nice experience. They changed up the menu every night, including foods from different parts of Mexico. And really willing to help us with our Spanish.
Once over the shock of the difference in the kind of location we believed we would be remaining, we maximized it. We satisfied some good individuals. Ate some fantastic food. Took some great walks on the golf course. And got our rental cars and truck a couple days early to go off and check out the area.
THE SALES PITCH
Both BookVIP and Premier Travel Resorts require that you participate in a 90-120 minute sales pitch to get their discounted prices. No biggie. We seem like that is worth it.
Premier Travel Resorts, however, requires that you attend a marketing discussion throughout each stay. This is different from what we were told when they offered us the bundle.
OK, THAT’S IT FOR MY TIRADE
