You see, they put us up, not in one of the luxury residential or commercial properties that they wanted to offer us on, however rather at their ‘cemetary resort’. Seriously, that is what the men at the great property told us they called it.
Now, to be reasonable, Laguna Suites wasn’t all bad. The one restaurant that was included in our ‘all inclusive’ (if you ignore the a/c leaking into our food) was in fact a great experience. They changed up the menu every night, including foods from various parts of Mexico. And the staff was remarkable. Very friendly and accommodating. And very willing to assist us with our Spanish.
As soon as over the shock of the distinction in the kind of place we believed we would be remaining, we made the many of it. And chose up our rental automobile a couple days early to go off and explore the area.
THE SALES PITCH
Both BookVIP and Premier Travel Resorts require that you participate in a 90-120 minute sales pitch to get their discounted prices. No biggie. We seem like that is worth it.
