You need to be prepared. Know that these marketing vacation package companies are not at all equivalent.

THE BAIT AND SWITCH CANCUN ‘ALL INCLUSIVE’ THROUGH PREMIER TRAVEL RESORTS
You see, they put us up, not in one of the high-end residential or commercial properties that they wanted to offer us on, however rather at their ‘cemetary resort’. Seriously, that is what the guys at the good property told us they called it.
Now, to be reasonable, Laguna Suites wasn’t all bad. The one dining establishment that was consisted of in our ‘all inclusive’ (if you overlook the air conditioner leaking into our food) was in fact a great experience. They changed up the menu every night, featuring foods from different parts of Mexico. And the personnel was fantastic. Very friendly and accommodating. And very going to help us with our Spanish.
Once over the shock of the difference in the sort of location we thought we would be remaining, we made the most of it. We fulfilled some nice people. Ate some terrific food. Took some nice strolls on the golf course. And picked up our rental automobile a couple days early to go off and explore the location.
THE SALES PITCH
Both BookVIP and Premier Travel Resorts require that you attend a 90-120 minute sales pitch to get their reduced prices. No biggie. We feel like that is worth it.
Premier Travel Resorts, however, requires that you attend a marketing discussion throughout each stay. When they offered us the plan, this is different from what we were told. A two-hour sales pitch when you are remaining someplace for just two nights is a huge piece of time. They sold us four various stays, that indicates up to 8 hours of moderately high-pressure sales! No thanks.
