You can only reserve schedule dates 45-90 days ahead of time if YOU PURCHASE A TRIP PLAN WITH PREMIER TRAVEL RESORTS. Okay, reasonable enough.
When you call to ask for your preferred dates, they require you to fill out a long form needing all the information that they already have. You then need to wait about a week to see if your dates are even offered. Unless your itinerary will just consist of your stay at their resort, this makes planning the rest of your travel really bothersome.

Now, to be reasonable, Laguna Suites wasn’t all bad. The one dining establishment that was consisted of in our ‘all inclusive’ (if you neglect the air conditioner dripping into our food) was really a good experience. They altered the menu every night, including foods from various parts of Mexico. And the personnel was incredible. Very friendly and accommodating. And very ready to help us with our Spanish.
Once over the shock of the distinction in the kind of place we thought we would be remaining, we made the most of it. We fulfilled some good individuals. Ate some great food. Took some great walks on the golf course. And picked up our rental car a couple days early to go off and check out the location.
THE SALES PITCH
Both BookVIP and Premier Travel Resorts require that you participate in a 90-120 minute sales pitch to get their reduced rates. No biggie. We feel like that deserves it.
Premier Travel Resorts, however, needs that you participate in a marketing presentation during each stay. This is various from what we were told when they offered us the package. When you are staying someplace for only 2 nights is a substantial chunk of time, a two-hour sales pitch.
